In 2019, she moved to London where she completed a Professional Diploma in Répétiteurship at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM). She was subsequently appointed a Fellow of the Academy as a Répétiteur from 2020 to 2022, working under Brenda Hurley. Pursuing her love for Early Music, she remained at the Academy to complete a Masters in Harpsichord (2023) and Professional Diploma in Fortepiano (2024), receiving a DipRAM for an outstanding final recital. It is here where Aya began training in Baroque and Classical dance with Mary Collins.
Aya was the Young Artist Répétiteur at Opera Holland Park (2024) for its production of Il barbiere di Siviglia and was a Young Artist at the National Opera Studio (2024–25) in London.
She is due to return to Mascarade Opera as a répétiteur for the 2026/27 season.
